With all these new games coming out on new consoles, it's nice to go back to some of the old classics from when I was growing up. The type of games that when you mention it, everyone "Oh yeah! I used to play that! Did you get stuck on that blah-de-blah bit as well?" For me though, I am a Playstation fan. Before that we did have a Sega Master System II which to be honest, I don't remember that well but I can remember us getting our first Playstation.
With that in mind, I decided to borrow some games off my brother to play. My favourite games series are Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil and Spyro the Dragon (bit of a difference) but there are some other ones that I do still love.
Croc: The Legend of the Gobbos
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee

For those od you who don't know about Abe's Oddysee, here's a very simple version of it, if you want to know more or a proper description, click on the game title above to see all of them in the series.
You play as abe, a Mudokon who works for Rupture Farms. You come across their plan to make you and your friends into their next product. You run away, get chased, shot at, escape Rupture farms, go back to Ancient times before Rupture Farms had been built and the 'wildlife' left as it should be, gain powers, go back to Rupture Farms to destroy the bad guys and save your friends along the way. You gotta love the greeny blue guy, he's in it for his friends :)
Next time, Croc :D
